After China’s OnePlus announced its ‘Summer Launch’ event on July 16, the company has now confirmed the devices that will be unveiled at the global event. OnePlus president Kinder Liu posted on X (formerly Twitter) that the company will be introducing the Nord 4 smartphone, Pad 2 tablet, Watch 2r smartwatch, and Nord Buds 3 Pro wireless earbuds. The tablet and smartwatch are expected to be rebranded Pad Pro and eSIM-based Watch 2 versions respectively, while the Node 4 and Buds 3 Pro are expected to be new products. For reference, the Pad Pro and eSIM-based Watch 2 were recently launched in OnePlus’ home country.

OnePlus will be hosting an event in Milan, Italy on July 16. The event will be live streamed online for a global audience. The live stream can be viewed on OnePlus’ YouTube channel. The event is scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM IST on July 16.
OnePlus Summer Launch Event: What to Expect
The OnePlus Nord 4 Nord 4 smartphone is expected to sport an all-metal build and dual-tone finish. The upper back portion is expected to have a glass-like glossy finish, while the lower portion will have a metallic texture. The glossy top portion will house a dual-camera setup with the camera sensors arranged horizontally. Expected specifications are as follows:

The Pad 2 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 system-on-chip (SoC) and will offer up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage options. The tablet will pack a 9,510mAh battery and support 67W SUPERVOOC wired charging.

OnePlus Watch 2r The Watch 2r is expected to be a rebranded model based on the eSIM-enabled Watch 2. The Watch 2r is expected to feature a 1.43-inch AMOLED display. The smartwatch is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip and a 500mAh battery. There isn’t much that will change in the Watch 2r compared to the Watch 2, but the smartwatch is expected to support eSIM connectivity.
Touted by the company as the “pinnacle of mid-range ANC earbuds,” the Nord Buds 3 Pro are expected to be similar to the Buds 3, which boast dual audio drivers that support high-resolution audio (LHDC), adaptive noise cancellation of up to 49db, touch volume controls, and up to 44 hours of battery life.
